Bryan Cullen, a professor of molecular genetics and microbiology at Duke University School of Medicine is under fire after he blasted a mandatory equity training as “Maoist political propaganda” and refused to attend. Cullen was not the first Duke professor to courageously take a stand against divisive tactics. In 2017, Paul Griffiths, a professor of Catholic theology at the university’s divinity school, similarly replied to a faculty email thread about a voluntary racial equity training to discourage colleagues from attending. Griffiths resigned from his position at the university in 2018.
“We spend a lot of time talking about the Woke Marxification of North America’s public schools, but what about private schools? As many who send their kids there can tell you, they’re just as Woke, if not Woker.” warns Dr. James Lindsay, founder of newdiscourses.com.
“Critical Education Theorists (Critical Pedagogs) have not ignored private schools, just like they haven’t ignored elite private universities that these schools primarily service, but how do they really think about them?” Lindsay goes on to explain what elite parents are paying $40,000, sometimes $50,000 a year to subject their children to, in his New Discourses podcast Critical Education Theory Series, Part 14: https://newdiscourses.com/2022/05/woke-private-schools-elite-leninist-vanguard/
With parents becoming awakened to the reality of the education system, combined with courageous instructors who take a stand against the indoctrination program, the future will have a strong fighting chance for true liberty.
