The decision from the American Bar Association to withdraw a proposal which requires law schools to “diversify” their student bodies comes as the Supreme Court is gearing up for oral arguments in a landmark affirmative action case that could outlaw racial preferences throughout higher education.
Even though 75 percent of Americans of all races “do not believe race or ethnicity should be a factor in college admissions,” DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) efforts are still pushed by many university admissions programs.
