“Students are being taught America was not a great country built on principles of freedom and liberty, [where] regardless of your background, your skin color, that anyone can prosper, anyone can succeed. These dangerous ideologies have infiltrated every facet of our society, including our churches, our workplaces, government, communities–even our military. Many of us have awakened to this.” But others have not, warns Asians For Liberty’s president Cathy Kiang, at the “Liberty and Justice For All Conference” held recently in Clearwater, Florida.
Educating both the young and old about the horrors of Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution in China is among Asians For Liberty’s goals. Presentations were given by fellow Americans, Mrs. Xi Van Fleet and Mrs. Lily Tang Williams, and along with special guest, Mr. Yukong Mike Zhao who joined in a panel discussion to expose ‘American Maoism’ (known also as today’s ‘American Woke Cultural Revolution’). These three survivors were able to share first-hand testimonies of what they saw in Mao’s Cultural Revolution in China, and all earnestly warn that the same deadly ideologies are being repeated here in America.
Xi and Lily both came from Sichuan Province, where an estimated eight million people died in those 10 years of the revolution.
“My parents, they chose communism. They joined the revolution,” Xi said. “And then they helped to take over China. “I did not make the choice. “And many of the young people today in America—they choose communism over capitalism.”
“I was so brainwashed,” Lily told attendees at the conference. Students turned on their teachers, she said. All religions were labeled cults. Children were encouraged to “educate” their parents and turn in if they failed to adapt, she explained.
Yukong Mike Zhao is from the Yunnan province of China, and warns that Critical Race Theory and Woke Culture is America’s dangerous repeat of China’s Cultural Revolution. As President of Asian American Coalition for Education, he shares about the dire consequences of attacking meritocracy and mandating racial equity in America. Zhao celebrates the recent striking down of affirmative action by the Supreme Court, and sees it as a historic victory for Asian Americans and all Americans.
Giving a powerful close to the night on American Maoism was Dr. James Lindsay, founder of New Discourses (newdiscourses.com). Regarded by Xi Van Fleet as ‘the general’ in the battle against the American Woke Cultural Revolution, Dr. Lindsay gave historical insights on how the dangerous ideologies infiltrated society.
The “Liberties and Justice For All” conference also featured speakers from across the United States, with conference organizer Michael O’Fallon of Sovereign Nations (sovereignnations.com), opening with the theme of each day. These many experts each exposed the dangers of other crafty threats to liberty, and what stands must be taken to ensure liberty and justice for all.
